FEBRUARY 21, 2019        ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING and SPEAKER PRESENTATION
SPEAKER:  AUSTIN SMITH, ESQ.        TOPIC:  NAVIGATING COMPLICATED WAGE CALCULATIONS FOR NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEES           1 RCH CREDIT
This interactive presentation will focus on some of the advanced wage calculations under federal and state laws, such as using the fluctuating workweek method for calculating overtime, determining the regular rate of pay when multiple variables are involved and overtime for salaried non-exempt employees.
The cost of your first chapter visit/lunch is only $10!  Subsequent meeting costs will be $25.00 for Colorado APA chapter members.  (See the Membership page to join NCPA). The Non-member cost is $35.00. 
Location:  Loveland Chamber of Commerce, 5400 Stone Creek Circle, Loveland, CO.  The business luncheon meeting will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.  The Speaker will present from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Are You Interested in Becoming a CPP-Certified Payroll Professional or FPC-Fundamental Payroll Certification?

FEBRUARY 2019:
Northern Colorado Payroll Association (NCPA) will be hosting a certification Study Group beginning February 2, 2019 which will be held every other Saturday through March 30, 2019.
The cost of the Study Group will be $75.00 and you will need to purchase a 2018 Payroll Source textbook from the American Payroll Association or other source.
CPP/FPC Exam Registration: January 15 – April 19, 2019     Exams: March 23 – April 20, 2019
Exams administered from September 15, 2018 through September 13, 2019 feature questions based on federal laws and regulations in effect as of January 1, 2018.
Whether or not you wish to become certified, this five week course will cover all aspects of payroll in various industries!  More information will follow.  Location TBD.
