Forms 941 and 941-X have seen significant changes with the enactment of the Families First Corona Response Act, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, the Presidential Memorandum and the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. We’ll discuss how the tax credits and social security tax deferrals impact the completion of Form 941 and how corrections can be made using Form 941-X.

James Medlock, CPP is a Payroll Educator & Owner of Medlock & Associates.  After 25 years with the American Payroll Association, Jim Medlock retired and now concentrates his efforts on ensuring payroll professionals and their organizations meet the various federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory compliance issues. While on APA’s staff Jim shared his knowledge and experience with payroll professionals for over 30 years, teaching and preparing materials for APA’s educational programs. He has over 40 years of payroll experience.

President:  Debbie Condos, CPP

Debbie joined NCPA in 2008 and received her CPP in 2010 after attending an NCPA Study Group.  Since joining NCPA, Debbie has held the offices of Education Chairperson, Government Liaison Officer, Study Group Coordinator and has been the Vice President of NCPA since January of 2017.  Debbie is a current member of the American Payroll Association.

Vice President:  Erica Florez, CPP

Erica joined NCPA in 2020 and received her CPP in 2013. Erica is a past member of the Denver Chapter Payroll Association and is a current member of the American Payroll Association.

Treasurer:  Kaly McKenna, CPP

Kaly joined NCPA in 2020 and received her CPP in 2007.  Kaly was a member of the San Diego Payroll Chapter for nine years.  During that time Kaly was their Government Liaison Officer for three years and their Treasurer for five years.  Kaly is a current member of the American Payroll Association.  

Secretary:  Abby McCurdy, CPP

Abby joined NCPA in 2017 and received her CPP in 2019 after attending an NCPA Study Group.  Abby has been an NCPA Study Group Mentor and Teacher for three years. and is a current member of the American Payroll Association.  

Member At Large:  Dixie  Phillips, FPC

Dixie joined NCPA in 2001 and received her FPC in 2006. Dixie has been the President of NCPA for the last three years and will now move into the Member at Large position and remain an active member of the board.  During her tenure with NCPA, other office’s Dixie has held are the Education Chairperson, Government Liaison Officer, Secretary and Treasurer.  The countless hours Dixie has invested in NCPA are too many to count and we owe her a debt of gratitude for her service.  Dixie is a current member of the American Payroll Association.

2021 Monthly Business/Education Meetings

The cost of your first NCPA chapter visit is only $10!  Subsequent meeting costs will be $20.00 for Colorado APA chapter members.  The Non-member cost is $30.00.  An R.S.V.P. is required to ncpchapter@gmail.com. Monthly meetings will be held virtually until it is safe to meet again in person.  The Business Education meetings will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.  Speakers will present from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  

Chapter Membership
